2010 Recording Leisure Lives Spring Conference at Bolton Museum
Drawing its inspiration from Humphrey Spender's Mass Observation photographs in Blackpool, this successful conference is in its third year and focuses on the leisure experiences of people on holiday in twentieth century Britain.

Victorian Week at Smithills Hall
A week of events all about Victorians. Experience a Victorian school class at 1.30pm and 2.30pm. Please book in advance for the classroom sessions. Free entry all week for children. Please note that Smithills Hall will be closed to the public on Saturday 3 April.
